AbstractThe article is devoted to the organization and activities of the state authorities of the Russian Federation – the government, the federal ministries, regional authorities, municipalities - to eliminate child abandonment. The greatest attention is paid to the activities of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, the phone is a federal program designed Russia without Orphans to be executed that will soon be eliminated, most children’s homes; analyzed the first measures for its implementation.
