Satisfação profissional em enfermagem num serviço de saúde mental.

Abstract
It is now recognized the importance of job satisfaction of nurses, given the relationship with the quality of care. This is most evident in the area of mental health, given its specificity.
The aim of this study was to analyze the level of job satisfaction of nurses in mental health, in a service of the chronically mentally ill in northern Portugal in 2011. It is a descriptive, cross-section-al and correlational. For data collection a questionnaire was used Satisfaction with the work of Ribeiro and Maia (2002). Participate in the study all the team members (8) aged between 44 and 59 years, mostly male (62.5%), married or unmarried couples (87.5%), 50% are graduates, 25% are specialists or have post-graduation. The experience varies between 23 and 36 years, more than 10 years in service for 50% of the population. Majority (87,5%) work in shifts, are dissatisfied with regard to salary (75%) and the presence of conflicts.
The degree of satisfaction with the work of the team lies in the average parameter dissatisfied. We found a statistically significant relationship of job satisfaction with sex, maturity, qualifications, work organization and the presence of conflicts.
