Análisis de la eficacia de un programa de inteligencia emocional con profesores de educación secundaria de Badajoz

Abstract
This investigation and intervention psycho-pedagogical is realized when 2010-2011 academic year finish in a school in Badajoz, taking a sample of 78 teachers. In the Project and educational intervention we try to improve the emotional competence of teachers of Secondary ObligatoryEducation and besides to contribute knowledge and skills to work this competition with their pupils.
This intervention is a pilot study of a border study between the Education Faculty of the University of Extremadura (Spain) and the Education High School of the Technical College of Castelo Branco (Portugal). With this Intervention, we intend to show the efficiency of a program to Emotional Intelligence Program in Spanish and Portuguese primary schools students, studying the impact that it has on the development of the Linguistic basic skills. To reach pupils´ emotional learning and an appropriate coexistence at educational centers, we highlight the importance of teaching training, which provides the teaching and learning processes in both educative systems and their development at centers, serving an important role teachers and parents.
The observed results up until this moment contribute to prove the relationship between the Emotional competence and the improvement of the self-knowledge, a positive atmosphere at teachers’ stuffs, the same as the improvement of the teaching practice.
