Efeito do género e da escolaridade no teste stroop: da infância à adultez jovem

Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to provide normative data for Color–Word Stroop Test in a sample of 1422 healthy Portuguese participants (age range: 7-23 years; education range: 2nd grade – 2nd year university level). We aim to compare results by gender, developmental stages and educational levels. The results show that age and education significantly contributed to scores.
Performance on all of the measures increase with age and with levels of education. Normative data stratified by gender, age and education for the portuguese population are provided as a useful set of norms for clinical and educational practice and research.
