Abstract
This project called “the integration of school counsellor in school life: the importance of educational guidance programs” deals with the role of the school counsellor in secondary schools. Their functions are analyzed and educational guidance programs as the common model in educational guidance are studied in depth. The purpose of educational guidance is to contribute to educational quality and to help students’ development, however it is thought that the educational community is rarely involved in type this work. Therefore we research the perceptions of the educational community relative to the role of the school counsellor, their satisfaction in order to adapt the educational guidance programs to reality, so these programs will an effect on educational quality and will contribute to improve the students development.
