em adolescentes: estudo com o YSR

Abstract
The present empirical study aims to identify indiscipline and emotional problems of adolescents and analyze the influence of gender, age, school results, friends and interpersonal relationships, main concerns, personal abilities and parents’ professions variables on those problems. The samples is composed by 223 students in the 2nd and 3rd cycles of the Portuguese Basic Education, having filled in the Adolescents’ behavioural problems inventory – YSR /11-18 year-olds, Achenbach (2001). After completing reliability studies and validating the constructs, six factors were established, for which we present the results: Anti-Social, Anxiety/Depression, Thought/Schizoid Problems, Somatic Complaints, Attention Problems, and Maladjusted Behaviours.
